The Last Of Us Episode 5 Jeffrey Pierce as Perry Death Explain: The fifth episode of The Last of Us is about Perry, who is second in charge of the Hunters. After the Hunters catch up to Henry, Sam, and Ellie, Joel shoots the driver of the lead truck, causing it to crash and a huge explosion. After Henry and Kathleen had a short fight, an infected horde came out from under the truck when it exploded. This caused chaos among the Hunters. In The Last of Us, a Bloater is shown for the first time along with the usual Runners and Clickers.

The Bloater starts hurting the Hunters, and Perry, who was played by Jeffrey Pierce, who was Tommy in the first game, tells Kathleen to run away before he tries to kill it. Perry’s weapons don’t hurt the Bloater, so it goes straight for him. When the Bloater finally gets him, he rips Perry’s head off with no mercy.
