The Last Of Us Episode 5 Anthony The Sniper Death Explain: Anthony the sniper, a minor character, is the first of these people to die. After successfully getting through the Kansas City tunnels, Joel, Ellie, Henry, and Sam come out in a suburban area that doesn’t seem to have any Hunters. But in the end, Anthony lets them know who he is by shooting at them from an empty house. In a scene taken straight from the first The Last of Us video game, Joel sneaks into the house and kills the sniper. It turns out that he is an old man named Anthony and tells the Hunters where Joel, Ellie, Henry, and Sam are.
