When Is David Attenborough New Series On? David Attenborough will start a new wildlife show next week.
The famous wildlife presenter explores the UK’s wild islands, forests, rivers, beaches, and meadows in the BBC documentary series Wild Isles.
Fans will be happy to hear the naturalist’s famously soothing Received Pronunciation again, but The Observer says this is likely to be his last on-location series.
Since Green Planet was shot more than four years ago, this is the first time Attenborough has been filmed on location.
The presenter’s family and agents say he is not retiring, but The Observer says he will stop going abroad.
A person who works for Attenborough said he had many projects coming up.
When Is David Attenborough New Series On?
On March 12, the first episode of the new BBC series will air, and it will be Attenborough’s first time looking at the natural history of Britain. Wild Isles starts on BBC One on March 12 at 11pm (UK time).
It was filmed over the course of three years, starting with a gathering of bluefin tuna off the coast of Cornwall and ending with a search for black grouse in Scotland’s Cairngorms.
Producers used the newest technology to get exciting footage of animals doing unique things, like sea eagles hunting and beautiful butterflies fighting.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, the World Wildlife Fund, and The Open University worked together on the show, which is said to show a side of British wildlife that has never been seen before.
Attenborough had told friends and family in the past that he planned to stop working in front of the camera after speaking at the Cop26 climate conference in Glasgow in 2021. This would be the end of his nearly 70-year career.
Where Can I Watch The New Attenborough?
The first episode of David Attenborough’s new documentary Wild Isles will air on BBC One on March 12 at 7 p.m. and will also be available on BBC iPlayer.
What Is David Attenborough Series Called?
