Is Max Meladze Dead In The Recruit? The Recruit, Netflix’s latest spy-adventure show, came out on December 16, 2022. Over its first weekend, it steadily increased the list of the top 10 TV shows.

The show, created by Alexi Hawley (The Rookie), is about a young CIA lawyer named Owen Hendricks (Noah Centineo) who gets caught up in the dangerous worlds of American espionage and Russian crime.

Max Meladze, a mysterious and dangerous person who will change his life forever, is part of his first big job.

In the last scene of The Recruit’s first season, Owen and Max are caught and held as hostages. They discover that Nichka Lashin took them while tied to chairs in a dark basement.

Max looks up at Nichka when she walks into the room, but he calls her Karolina. Looks like Nichka is Max’s daughter Karolina. But there’s no time for a family reunion because Nichka/Karolina shoots her mother right in the chest from close range.

Max seems to pass out right away from the pain and shock of being shot. A lot of blood is coming from where the bullet hit her. So, it doesn’t seem likely that she had a bulletproof vest at the time.

Still, the question is whether Max could survive this shot and whether she does. Gunshot wounds that happen close up are really a gamble. She could die right away or live for a long time.

If Netflix keeps the show going for a second season, they will talk about what happened after this shooting.

It’s a surprise ending to the series that doesn’t say much about what will happen next. Max would survive this injury and fight another day if she got the proper medical care.

If they killed off one of their more exciting characters so early in the show’s run, it would be like they scored their own goal.
