Fans of Elden Ring went crazy when they heard about this news, but a new report says that the DLC won’t be coming out for a long time.

A new report from Exputer says that FromSoftware is working on getting its next game, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, out before releasing the DLC for Elden Ring. The report says that FromSoftware plans to release Armored Core 6 in September or October of this year. The game is set to come out to the public in 2023. If this turns out to be true, it would mean that Elden Ring’s DLC might not come out until the last few months of 2023 at the earliest.

This report seems to be true because FromSoftware didn’t say much about the Elden Ring expansion when Shadow of the Erdtree was shown off this week. Aside from the DLC’s name and a new piece of art, nothing else was said about the add-on. No release date, trailers, or more details were given. Considering this, it looks like Shadow of the Erdtree might still be in its early stages of development. Even though we’re sure to hear more about the expansion in the coming months, it sounds like fans who want to play this new content as soon as possible will have to wait.
