Dead Cells Castlevania Release Date; Dead Cells, a roguelike Metroidvania game, has finally announced when its next DLC, Return to Castlevania, will come out. Late last year, it was announced that the well-known Konami series would be part of the crossover. It is the most recent big piece of DLC for Dead Cells, but it probably won’t be the last.

When it came out in 2018, Dead Cells quickly became one of the most successful independent games of all time. Critics liked the game when it came out, and it has sold more than 5 million copies around the world. The game released a number of DLC pieces and a Dead Cells roadmap for 2022, which showed that the game isn’t going away anytime soon. Fans finally know when the game’s newest content will come out.

Late last year, it was made clear that Dead Cells and the Castlevania series would work together. Return to Castlevania, a trailer for the DLC that came out in January, gave players a taste of what was to come. During the most recent Nintendo Direct, a new trailer for the DLC and its release date were shown. The trailer pays tribute to the original games in the series with music and level designs that look like they were taken straight from the original games. The DLC for Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is set to come out on March 6.

One of the oldest series of video games is the Castlevania series. Castlevania, the first game in the series, came out in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Since then, many sequels, spinoffs, tributes, and spiritual successors have been made. After Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 didn’t do very well and publisher Konami moved away from making video games and into other fields, the series stopped growing. Castlevania: Advanced Collection, which came out in 2021, was the most recent game in the series made by the company. At the moment, it’s not clear if the company plans to make any more parts.

Since Dead Cells came out, the developers have put out three major pieces of DLC that add to the story. People say that the Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC is twice as big as the ones that came before it. The different trailers hint at fights with Dracula and Death, where the player’s character will look like Belmont, team up with Richter Belmont and Alucard, and use weapons similar to those used by the series’ main characters. We still don’t know if the DLC will be able to capture the feel of the old games.
