Did Ronda Rousey Have A Baby

A few months ago, Ronda Rousey, along with her husband Travis Browne, announced through an ingenious YouTube video that the former Raw and UFC Women’s Champion was pregnant. Two months later, Ronda took it upon herself to reveal that the baby they were expecting was a girl.

Through her Instagram account, Ronda Rousey has announced the birth of her daughter named La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne.

Rousey, who walked away from MMA in 2016 after her second consecutive knockout loss, transitioned to a professional wrestling career with WWE, as well as film and television roles. It recently made headlines when post-UFC 264 Conor McGregor and his outburst against Dustin Poirier were praised.

Recall that the last time Rousey stepped on a WWE ring was on April 7, 2019, at WrestleMania 35, where she made history by fighting Charlotte Flair and the eventual winner of the fight, Becky Lynch, for the first time in the story in which women starred in WrestleMania.

Flair lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship and Rousey lost the Raw Women’s Championship in this match that lasted 21 minutes and 30 seconds. The next day it was learned that Rousey had broken her little finger at WrestleMania and her departure from WWE began to be rumored. It was confirmed on April 23, 2019, where Rousey declared that she was leaving WWE to start a family because she wanted to get pregnant.

Although it took some time, Rousey was finally able to give birth. But is Rousey still tied to WWE? In October 2020 it was reported that Rousey’s contract with WWE ended on April 10, 2021, a day before that deadline Dave Meltzer reported that it was highly likely that Rousey and WWE had reached an agreement to extend the contract.

This was a couple of days after Nick Khan, president of the company, pointed out that Rousey was going to fight in the company again in the future, a few days before the news of the pregnancy of the baddest woman on the planet.
