Carla Fernanda Avila Squid Game – There is no doubt that the popular Netflix series “Squid Games” has become a public favorite. In the story that is already on its way to being the most viewed on the Netflix platform, the talent of Mexico stands out with the participation of the actress Carla Fernanda Ávila.
After the premiere and the overwhelming success of the South Korean series, ” The Squid Game”, which caused a furor among Mexicans and on the Netflix platform, and was characterized by the constant adrenaline in viewers, not only had the participation of talented Korean but there was Mexican talent in the production.
The Mexican shared her participation, after several of her acquaintances questioned her about the great resemblance between the character and her, turning out that it was her: “To be honest, I hardly shared my appearance in the Netflix series ‘The game of squid’ but, some friends recognized me and texted me about it. So, after doing some meditation, I decided to share it,” reads one of his Instagram posts.
The character played by Fernanda appears in the last chapters of the series, when the VIP members observe the performance of the competition games, she is part of the living sculptures with Bodypainting (body painting).
“The reason I did not want to share it is because I felt a little shy, because I am completely exposed,” revealed Fernanda Avila.
In addition, she shared that it was the first time that she did a body painting job and also, wrote some of the difficulties of making this character: “It took us almost all morning to paint ourselves, and going to the bathroom was really difficult, I also needed to stay still and move the least because the paint was falling off, and as I am very restless, it did cost me work. Even so, it was a great experience and I would consider doing it again”, she revealed.
The story written and directed by Dong-hyuk Hwang, which shows how all the disparate players will compete against each other in a series of deadly challenges, is inspired by the love for the director’s comics, as it even pays homage to the survival genre. Fernanda Avila arrived in Seoul, Korea, in 2017, the native of Guadalajara has caused a commotion among Mexicans, as she is national pride.
