Amy Adams Night At The Museum? A sequel is almost a clear signal when a picture earns $250 million in the United States. The same was true in Night at the Museum. The almost infinite list of historical people who may feature in the 2006 success undoubtedly lent itself to more series.

The idea of museum displays coming to life after dark sells itself, and placing well-known actors in the roles helps even more. Night at the Museum- Battle of the Smithsonian is well aware of all of these factors, and it makes use of them even more than its predecessor.

Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon, who wrote Night at the Museum, acknowledged Dark Horizons working on a sequel. Another Night at the Museum was the working title at the time. According to the authors, “there will be current characters as well as lots of new ones.”

Night at the Museum movie Battle of the Smithsonian, the sequel, was announced by 20th Century Fox to be released during Memorial Day weekend in 2009. Shawn Levy will helm the sequel, which stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais, Patrick Gallagher, Jake Cherry, Rami Malek, Mizuo Peck, Brad Garrett, and Robin Williams.

Shot the main thing of the movie in Vancouver, Montreal. Some scenes were shot at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. On May 21, 2008, they shot a scene at the Lincoln Memorial. On the 18th, August 20, 2008, scenes were also shot at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

In December 2008, the trailer was released with Bedtime Stories, Yes Man, and Marley & Me. In January, the trailer accompanied the release of Bride Wars, followed by The Pink Panther 2 in February and Dragonball Evolution in April 2009. The film was also advertised as an opening prank on American Idol, in which a duplicate of the Idol judge chairs is hosted at the actual Smithsonian Institution.

Dick Van Dyke as Cecil Fredericks, Bill Cobbs as Reginald, and Mickey Rooney appeared in an alternative ending included on the DVD and Blu-ray versions.

Filmmakers lent the Smithsonian Institution objects used in the film, displayed at the Smithsonian Castle, including the film’s mound of relics.

The Smithsonian also developed a pamphlet detailing where to discover online artifacts and at museum visitor service desks.

Numerous objects that inspired the film were exhibited at Smithsonian Museums around the National Mall as of 2009. Many of the antiques bear “Night at the Museum” branding.

The Box Office

Night at the Museum movie: Battle of the Smithsonian grossed $177 million in North America and $236 million in other markets by the end of its theatrical run, for a global total of $413 million against a budget of $150 million.

It also does not imply that they should create a sequel, yet that is what we are getting with ‘Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.’ Don’t be irritated if your child insists on seeing this. The first picture, and although calling its sequel an improvement is a stretch, it’s not the worst time you can spend at the cinema. I miss the days when Ben Stiller took risks and went out on a limb with unusual material. He now appears to be going through the motions, and while ‘Tropic Thunder’ was a tremendous hit with some delightful elements, it felt highly commercial to me.
