8 Day Of Navratri Which Goddess: It is believed that the festival of Navratri, which lasts for nine days and is celebrated with great passion all over India by thousands of believers, is a very fortunate event.

Maa Durga, the goddess of strength, energy, and intelligence, is honored during this festival by paying respect to her in the form of worship.

The first celebration of Navratri takes place in the spring and is known as Chaitra Navratri. The second celebration of Navratri takes place in the fall and is known as Sharad Navratri.

The nine nights of Shardiya Navratri are scheduled to begin in September and continue through October.

Navratri has reached the last stage, and today Adishakti Mahagauri, the eighth form of Maa Durga, will be worshiped.

The worship of the Goddess of this day signifies the original sense.

It has been told in Devi Bhagwat Purana that 9 forms of mother and 10 Mahavidya are all parts and forms of Adishakti.

But Mahagauri is always seated with Mahadev as his Ardhangini.

By worshiping this form of Maa Durga, the Somachakra is awakened, and her grace completes every impossible task.

According to Devi Bhagwat Purana, Goddess Parvati was born to King Himalaya.

Goddess Parvati realized the events of her previous birth at the age of just 8 years, and since then, she has started Tapasya to get Lord Shiva as her husband.

During her tapasya, mother used to eat only kandamool phal aur bel patton. Baad mein maata ne keval vaayu peekar tap karana aarambh kar diya.

Tapasya se devee paarvatee ko mahaan gaurav praapt hua tha isalie unaka naam mahaagauree pada.

Reciting the central character of Durga Saptashati on this day is especially fruitful.
