A season focused on Hurricane Katrina was in development between 2017 and 2019 but was ultimately scrapped.

Based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book A vast conspiracy, which details the story of Bill Clinton’s sex scandal with then-White House fellow Monica Lewinsky and the mandate revocation process against the president in 1998, Impeachment will explore the points from the viewpoint of the women involved in this case.

Who Plays Bill Clinton In American Crime Story?

Clive Owen as President Bill Clinton in the American Crime Story. The cast is led by Beannie Feldstein ( Super Nerds ), chosen to play Monica Lewinsky; Clive Owen ( The Knick ), who will play the then president, Bill Clinton; Edie Falco ( Nurse Jackie ) will play Hillary Clinton, the first lady; and Sarah Paulson ( Ratched ) will be seen as Linda Tripp, a Pentagon public employee who recorded her private conversations with Lewinsky and uncovered the scandal.

The secondary includes Annaleigh Ashford ( Masters of Sex), like Paula Jones, an Arkansas official who accused Clinton of sexual harassment when he was governor of the state; Billy Eichner ( American Horror Story: Cult ) will play journalist Matt Drudge; and Betty Gilpin plays Ann Coulter, far-right talkative and author.

Monica Lewinsky His story

Former grantee Monica Lewinsky met Bill Clinton at the White House, home and office where the former president conducted his executive affairs. Also, the place where the nine sexual encounters that the couple experienced between 1995 and 1997 took place.

Linda Tripp, a friend of Lewinsky’s who worked at the Pentagon, knew about the relationship; therefore, he recommended that the injured party keep the gifts Clinton had given her and keep a dress that had stained her with her fluids.

In secret, Tripp recorded telephone conversations that made it clear the relationship of the couple.

But when Lewinsky had to deny, in court, having any relationship with Clinton (when he was facing a lawsuit for harassment), her friend gave the evidence to prosecutor Kenneth Starr, who was investigating the president.
