Who is Chris Chan, and What Did He/She Do? Christine Weston Chandler, commonly known as Chris Chan, is a vlogger and artist from Virginia, USA. With over 60 thousand subscribers on YouTube, she is best known for her “Sonichu” webcomic series that features a character combining Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog. The 41-year-old transgender internet personality also shares videos about her life and animations of her cartoons, amassing nearly 9 million views on the platform.

The Alleged Crime and Arrest

In 2021, Chan was arrested and charged with felony incest. According to a statement released by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, they received information about sex crimes against a family member, both the victim and the suspect residing in Greene County. After the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued, and Christine Weston Chandler was taken into custody. She was held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail, with the case being an ongoing investigation and additional charges pending.

Is Chris Chan Released on Bail?

The current situation regarding Chan’s release on bail remains uncertain. Although social media posts show unverified screenshots claiming that Chan has been “bonded out,” there has been no official confirmation. Virginia’s official courts website displays a transportation order issued for Chan on March 27 but does not provide details about the order or her custody status. The records indicate that she will have another court hearing related to the charge on August 8 this year.
