The Royal Treatment is a family romantic comedy directed by Rick Jacobson ( Bitch Slap), which follows the story of Isabella, a fun-loving, independent New York woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind, trying to grow a beauty salon she owns. One day, she receives a proposal she never thought of: she and her team have been hired to serve as hairdressers at the wedding of a European prince.
The job takes Izzy and her team to the kingdom of Lavania, where she meets Thomas, heir to the throne, and on his way to running an entire country, who is dissatisfied with having to marry a woman his parents chose and barely knows. As soon as he meets the rebellious and free Izzy, the prince falls in love with her, and she with him, despite understanding that their love is impossible, something that cannot avoid the feelings that develop between them and that endanger various political agreements.
