Grey’s Anatomy is an American TV series originally broadcast on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) channel. The drama follows the personal and professional lives of surgical interns and their supervisors at the Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital, formerly known as the Seattle Grace Hospital.
Season one features Meredith and four other interns, but the cast renews each year as some veterans say their goodbyes from time to time, new faces join the medical team.

Where Is Greys Anatomy Filmed?
Although in theory the story is lived in Seattle, the truth is that it is not filmed in that state, since, as in many cases, Grey’s Anatomy is filmed in California, where the Prospect Studios is located in Los Feliz, near Hollywood.
Portions of Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital are also filmed outside of the studio. The show uses parts of the Veterans Administration’s Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center at 1611 Plummer Street in North Hills, California. The south side of the Sepulveda Veterans Administrative Ambulatory Care Center is used to film the establishment shots of the Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital.
The Netflix show also uses another actual location within California to film a recurring location on the show that is supposed to be in Seattle, the Emerald City Bar. The actual location where the bar scenes are filmed is at 72 N. Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena. It was formerly McMurphy’s Restaurant & Tavern.
Additionally, some scenes from the fourth episode of the show’s seventh season were filmed at Fire Station 23 at 225 E 5th Street in Los Angeles, California. Additionally, Rancho Calamigos in Malibu, California was used to film the wedding of Dr. Bailey and Dr. Warren.
The Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital helipad seen in some seasons is actually filmed on top of the KOMO plaza at 140 4th Ave N in Seattle. Additionally, the exterior of Meredith Grey’s home was also filmed at a real location in Seattle. The current home is at 303 W. Comstock Street.
