He then went to Vanity Fair in the US and also to the Italian magazine Mirabella (in 1990, when Ford assumed the creative direction of Gucci and both moved to Milan) in addition to the Vogue edition of that same country. In 1999, he was appointed director of Vogue Hommes International, one of the most prestigious men’s fashion publications in the world, in France, a position he held until 2005 and for which he lived in Paris for more than five years, before moving to London before returning to the USA.
