Who Was Annie Wersching? Annie Wersching was honoured at the end of the most recent episode of The Rookie. Some people who just started watching the show don’t know who she was or why she got such a big memorial on the show.

In the early 2000s, Annie Wersching started her career by appearing on TV shows like CSI, Cold Case, and others. The role of Agent Renee Walker on the seventh season of the hit drama 24 was her big break out role. She came back the next season, but her character had a sad ending.

Wersching worked on a lot of TV shows, including The Vampire Diaries, Timeless, Runaways, and Bosch. Fans of The Rookie, on the other hand, knew Wersching as the sick serial killer Rosalind Dyer.

The Rookie Season 5: Who Was Annie Wersching?

In Season 2, Rosalind was a serial killer who was in prison. She had been found guilty of seven murders but hinted that there were many more. She was trying to make a deal to tell where her victims were, but instead she had a partner take Officer Lucy Chen. The group was able to find Chen and put Dyer behind bars.

Later, when Nolan found out that Detective Nick Armstrong was dishonest, he met Rosalind, who told him that she had known about Armstrong’s crimes for a long time. Rosalind would often call up other characters and make fun of them.

In Season 5, Rosalind got away from the police and began killing people all over Los Angeles. She set up a trap with Bailey Nune to get Nolan to come to a meeting where she could try to get him to kill her. Instead, he put Rosalind in jail, and her new partner killed her.

When Wersching was filming her last role as Rosalind, no one knew that she was in the last stages of cancer. She knew what was wrong with her in 2020, but she kept it a secret so she could keep working. Wersching lost her fight and passed away on January 29.

The tribute at the end of this week’s episode was The Rookie’s way of saying goodbye to one of its most memorable guest stars, Wersching, whose time on the show will never be forgotten.
