Cecilia (Elisabeth Moss) is a woman trapped in a toxic relationship with Adrian Griffin (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), a wealthy and brilliant scientist, who also happens to be a manipulative sociopath. When he takes his own life, he leaves Cecilia a juicy part of his great fortune. The only requirement to receive this inheritance is that she not be declared mentally incompetent. As a series of coincidences turn deadly, threatening her life and the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel. She will begin to suspect that her ex’s death was a hoax, while desperately trying to prove that she is being tormented by someone no one can see. This new version of the HG Wells novel The Invisible Man is produced by the Blumhouse studio.
