The Flash Movie Cast 2023: The Flash is a popular DC character who is about to be shown in movies for the first time (in a film called The Flash, naturally). It’s based on the Flashpoint storyline from DC Comics and tells the story of Barry Allen, who goes back in time to stop his mother from being killed, but ends up making a lot of different universes. On February 12, 2023, during Super Bowl LVII, the first official trailer for The Flash was shown for the first time. This came after months of uncertainty, anticipation, and rumours. This was the first time Warner Bros. had paid for a TV spot during the big game since 2006 (Super Bowl XL). It can be seen here:
The trailer not only gives us our best look yet at Michael Keaton’s much-anticipated return as Batman, but it also confirms that Michael Shannon’s General Zod will be back and that Ben Affleck will play Batman that Sasha Calle’s Supergirl will make her big-screen debut. The almost 3-minute-long trailer also gives a sneak peek at some of the movie’s big action scenes as well as the similarities to Flashpoint.
The Flash Release Date
The Flash will finally appear in theatres in the US and UK on June 16, 2023, after being pushed back several times. A date for streaming hasn’t been set yet, but it’s likely to happen around October. When we find out more, Pocket-lint will add to this guide.

Andy Muschietti is in charge of The Flash. He was also in charge of the IT movies and Mama. The script was written by Christina Hodson, who wrote Birds of Prey, and Joby Harold, who wrote Army of the Dead.
Barry Allen/The Flash is played by Ezra Miller, who is joined by a star-studded cast, including Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Michael Shannon as General Zod, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.
