The Boys Season 3 Release Date: Earlier this year, Amazon revealed that the third season of The Boys would be making its Prime Video debut in June. Because many movie series have been delayed lately, the community was worried that the same thing would happen with this new production, but fortunately, it seems that will not be the case.
To calm fans, Amazon released a new poster dedicated to the third season of The Boys which shows us a pretty diabolical Billy Butcher, and at the same time, reiterates its release date as June 3, 2022.
What Will Happen In The Boys Season 3?
The 2nd season of The Boys ended with the death of Butcher’s wife and the apparent disbandment of the team. However, we do know that they will reunite, most likely in an attempt to bring down the increasingly psychotic Homelander ( something that seems to happen with the actor who plays him in real life ). Queen Maeve was able to blackmail her leader fueled by her anger into backing down in the finale, but actor Anthony Starr has already confirmed that he will indeed break loose in season 3.

Could Butcher Have Superpowers?
It may be that the poster we see is simply a game that unites the characteristic bad milk of the Patriot (remember that Antony Starr was sentenced to a year in prison in Spain for a fight) with the character of Butcher, whose only obsession lies in killing everyone the superheroes that roam the world, and especially with those who are headlines at Vought International. After discovering in season 2, and in that same Diabolical, that anyone could be a “super”, it would be a good script twist for the character played by Karl Urban to have a few tricks up his sleeve.
However, at the moment everything points to the fact that things are simply going to get red hot (the Patriot’s smile anticipated it in the teaser that confirmed the date of season 3) and that Carnicero and his team are going to put on their boots charging supers in this new batch of episodes. Be that as it may, on June 3 we will find out when the new season of fiction premieres, on Amazon Prime Video of course.
