SWAT Season 6 Episode 2 shows Hondo taking extreme measures to protect a young child who saved his life. Who knows if they’ll all make it out alive?
The group is still there. With Hondo now safe, the crew must focus on saving another life.
The story centers on the young boy who rescued Hondo and his ex-military friend.
He did it while knowing he was taking a severe danger with his life. In the face of pursuers, he fled into the cave system.
Hondo wished he could have gone, but the process was too involved for him. The Americans knew that staying there would be a death sentence, so they retreated to their makeshift stronghold.
Hondo, however, keeps thinking about that kid. The hero will do anything to save the protagonist.
The drug cartel has kidnaped the boy. At least, that’s how the preview for the next episode makes it seem.
The squad eventually reaches where the youngster is being held, but it’s already too late. Almost everyone has already gone on.
That everyone has just moved on is, I hope, the explanation. For the boy’s future, this may not be good news. Has he been taken to be executed for disobeying orders?
Who will be joining the squad in place of Chris was revealed in the pilot? The replacement is Zoe Powell, who we first met in Season 5.
She showed promise as a team player early in the premiere, but we need to see more of her throughout the season to understand better how she’ll mesh with the rest of the cast.

Season 6, episode 2 of “S.W.A.T.” will premiere on C.B.S. at 8/7c on October 14, 2022. About 21 episodes are planned for this season, and we can look forward to a new episode every other Friday at the same time.
