Poker Face Season 1 Episode 6: The long-awaited murder mystery series Poker Face by Rian Johnson finally came out at the end of last month, and Natasha Lyonne’s character, Charlie Cale, might be giving Benoit Blanc a run for his money as our new favourite detective. Collider is excited to show an exclusive clip from this week’s episode for the first time this morning. In the sixth episode of Season 1, called “Exit Stage Death,” Charlie’s latest job as a waitress at a dinner theatre is cut short when a tragic death happens in the middle of a performance by two washed-up former TV stars.

The tension and suspense from the fourth episode of Poker Face carry over into the fifth episode. The fact that Charlie’s latest investigation takes place in an elderly care facility gives the series a new twist and gives Charlie’s latest case an unusual setting.

At the beginning of the episode, Charlie starts to get to know the older people at the home, like Irene and Joyce. Even though she is there on a different level, she connects with them immediately and feels comfort and warmth. But when a key resident dies suddenly, it shakes Charlie up and puts her back into detective mode.

As Charlie looks into what happened to the person who died, she quickly realises that there is more to the story than meets the eye. She was surprised by the sudden death, but she is determined to find out what happened.

The episode was at its most jaw-droppingly suspenseful, and the last reveal left us in awe (Ben was none other than Gabriel himself). It also pushed the limits of how gripping a story could be, making it a very interesting thing to watch.

Poker Face Season 1 Episode 6 Release Date

On February 2, 2023, the fifth episode of the first season of Poker Face will air, followed by the sixth episode on February 9, 2023. On Peacock, it will air a week after the first four episodes have aired on the network.

Poker Face Season 1 Episode 6 Plot

Lyonne faces off against Ellen Barkin, winner of an Emmy, in a new clip from Thursday’s programme. Barkin takes on the role of Kathleen, one of the two TV stars who try their luck in the theatre. Charlie’s new waitressing job has become a living misery because she acts like a stereotypical Hollywood diva. Charlie’s human lie detector talents go into overdrive when Kathleen issues an ultimatum, and she confronts the actress, calling her performance “basically a boiling ball of hot crap.” Only Charlie Cale can solve the murder at the heart of “Exit Stage Death,” making this the “performance of a lifetime.”
