Percy Jackson Disney Plus Cast Annabeth: Disney Plus has found its new epic trio. The streamer, along with author Rick Riordan, has announced their main cast for their upcoming new Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. This trio of the course consists of Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood.
Earlier this month, Disney Plus announced that Walker Scobell, who starred alongside Ryan Reynolds in the popular film The Adam Project, was cast as the lead in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, a series inspired by Rick Riordan’s literary work. Now the actors who will play Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase have been confirmed.

According to a report, Aryan Simhadri will take over as Grover, while Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth. This information took three months to arrive after the new Disney Plus live-action series was announced in January.

The production is still in an early stage of development, so precise details behind each character have not yet been revealed, although a brief overview of the story written by Rick Riordan himself has been revealed.
The story will feature the 12-year-old demigod Percy (Scobell). His life changes completely when Zeus himself accuses him of stealing his master bolt; this will take him on a journey to find this precious object and of course, to save his life. Although such a complex mission requires allies, this is where his friends Grover and Annabeth become relevant in this live-action series.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians will begin production in the middle of this year and the city of Vancouver, Canada will receive the first days of filming. At the moment, Disney has not revealed the release date, so we will still have to wait for new details.
