All of my knowledge of this case comes from documentaries and the inevitable spiral after viewing a good documentary that causes you to study practically anything on that specific subject. So, coming in, I was well-versed in the primary storyline aspects of this novel, and the performance delivered just as I had hoped.
The Bronco pursuit in which OJ Simpson evaded police was a televised event that thousands watched from their homes. The play produced enough suspense and recreated the pursuit that many people have witnessed on video platforms subsequently.
Lot of excitement during the trial when tried on OJ on the solitary glove recovered at the crime scene. Pulling this type of ploy in an actual trial may be considered filmy, but it added to the dramatic atmosphere in the program.
The ten-episode series was nominated for 22 Primetime Emmy Awards in 2016. It managed to win nine of those trophies, making it the year’s most successful event. The program also received two Golden Globe nominations.
