As part of the Mobile World Congress 2022, the Chinese company took the opportunity to announce that its new flagship smartphone would land on the international market at the end of this month of March, reaching North America, India, and several European countries.

Technically Speaking, What Should We Expect?

Recall that the new OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and minimum storage space of 128 GB. It has a 5000 mAh battery capable of supporting charging at 80 watts wired, 50 watts wireless and offers reverse charging.

It is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO 2.0 curved screen with a maximum resolution of 1440×3216 and HDR10+ compatibility and refreshes between 1 and 120 Hz, depending on the application’s needs. The mobile is of course Wi-Fi 6 and 5G compatible and it benefits from a 48-megapixel main photosensor, a 1/1.43-inch Sony IMX789 opening at F/1.8 accompanied by a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens capable of 150-degree ultra-wide-angle shooting. The third sensor is an 8 megapixel with a 3.3x optical zoom. On the front is a 32-megapixel sensor, the Sony IMX615 which is also found on the OnePlus Nord 2, Oppo Find X3 Series, and other devices.

The Hasselblad partner is on hand for image processing and in particular the optimization of color rendering. It should be offered with a new version of the OxygenOS software overlay, although in China it has gone under Oppo’s ColorOS system. It remains to know the price of this OnePlus 10 Pro and its precise date of marketing.
