Obi-Wan Kenobi Release Date: Disney + on 9th March 2022 gave an acceleration in the promotional campaign of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi‘. First, the first images of the long-awaited series starring Ewan McGregor appeared, and later its impressive trailer was released.
This production marks not only the return of actor Ewan McGregor under the skin of the first Jedi we met on the big screen but also that of Hayden Christensen, who gave life to Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in the prequels to the saga created by George Luke.
The first preview of the long-awaited series allows us to see part of Obi-Wan’s life on the desert planet of Tatooine, where he has been exiled since the fall of the Republic to protect little Luke Skywalker.
You can even see a child Luke imagining being a pilot on the farm of his uncles Lars and Beru Owen, who is again played by actors Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse, respectively.

The release date is May 25 and like all Star Wars series, it will be a Disney Plus exclusive.
Another great detail is the appearance of the Grand Inquisitor, a character we saw for the first time in the Rebels animated series.
The trailer clearly shows that the Inquisitors, a group of force users in Vader’s employ, will be some of the main villains.
The images show that the story will take place on other worlds besides Tatooine, so Master Kenobi will have to receive a weighty mission to leave the desert.

Obviously, the details of the plot are very few although, in contrast, the rumors are many. The only thing confirmed about the plot is that the series will take place 10 years after the establishment of the Galactic Empire. Although that is little or almost no information, with that the followers of the saga can speculate for hours. Anything could be expected from this series. According to the expanded universe, where they sometimes take inspiration to re-canonize some narrative arcs, Obi Wan’s stay on Tatooine was anything but calm.

We know that Ewan McGregor will be there, and everyone forgot their hatred of Hayden Christensen and, instead, was excited to know that Vader will appear in the series. When Does The Obi-Wan Series Premiere?
The first episodes of the series are expected to premiere
on Disney+ on May 25 of this year (if there is no global event to delay them).
McGregor has stated that, as far as he knows,
it will be a single season and there are no plans to make the series longer. But you know capitalism: it will never let a product die if it is profitable.
