NCIS Season 19 Episode 19 Recap

When a couple returns home early from vacation and notices a broken vase. They blame the neighbor’s cat, but after watching their video footage they realize they were broken into. The offender was still in their home. The man comes out just as the homeowner was announcing he knew of his presence.

Straight out of the closet and tried to fight with the naval officer for a minute and then made a beeline for the front door. The team was notified and all their plans were put on hold. As they interview the couple they learn there had been a handful of robberies on the base. They also learn the perp had been at an underage party earlier that night. He didn’t bother to change clothes before his B&E.

The perp quickly has a name. Noah. Noah and his friends were breaking into the servicemen’s homes to scout the houses for parties. Noah did not reveal who was hacking the military base for access to the houses, but Noah’s mother threw Tegan right under the bus. Tegan was already in their custody after the party from earlier that night. Tegan’s mom was overseas.

Tegan was crying in her defense that her mother did not love her. She didn’t want to talk to any of the NCIS agents after McGee talked to her trying to relate to her she confides that she was the one who was hacking the military base to find out who was going to be gone on vacation. She could also hack the system and unlock the smart security systems of the homes. The team is still needing answers though when Teagen tells them she is the only one who knows how to hack the system, yet it is hacked again while Tegan is in their custody. Before they could dig any deeper they heard a loud explosive go off. It was at the Lieutenant’s house. The bomb was triggered and took the life of Tang.

Tang had been working on a robot butler who could read your profile and serve you according to your taste. The team could not find Tang’s robot anywhere in the explosion debris. They go on the hunt for the robot butler and find another teenager trying to sell it. The teenager was Noah’s brother. They interview Noah’s brother and find out there are holes in his story, and Teagan had taken off of them and was nowhere to be found.

Turns out Tegan has an online boyfriend who is catfishing her and using her so he can make her look guilty for the explosion and get her to help him hack their system. The boyfriend’s name was Samuel. Tegan helps the team by giving them all her messages and they are able to catch up with the boyfriend who was in his forties. He was quickly sent to prison for the murder of Tang.
