Lori “Lolo” Jones (des Moines, August 5, 1982) is a United States hurdler and bobsledder.

During his career, he won two indoor world titles in 60 hs, respectively, in the editions of Valencia 2008 and Doha 2010.

Lolo Jones Career

Lolo Jones finished second in her first professional competition in Stuttgart after her disappointing final at the 2004 US Outdoor Olympic Trials. However, she won her first national championship in 2007 at the USA Indoor Championships.

Lolo started the 2008 season with hopes of making the 2008 Summer Olympics and started the indoor campaign with a second-place finish in Glasgow, Stuttgart, and Gothenburg in the 60m hurdles.

Jones started the 2009 indoor season in Europe with a brilliant performance and a victory in the 60m hurdles with a sensational time of 7.82 seconds in Birmingham.

Likewise, in the 2010 season, she defended her world indoor title over 60m hurdles in Doha and set a new American record. However, in a 2011 race in Glasgow, she finished the race in the fourth position after clearing the third hurdle.

She is also one of 10 Americans who participated in both summer and winter Olympic Games tournaments in the entire history of that competition.
