Hospital sources said KK fell ill while performing at an event in Kolkata and was taken to CMRI Hospital. There they were declared dead. It is said that KK was performing at the festival of Gurudas College at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata. During this time his health deteriorated.

He did that program at Vivekananda College. But the next day after the concert, his health deteriorated, and as soon as he saw it, he left everyone forever.
