The first three episodes of the much-anticipated musical drama will be shown for the first time on March 3, 2023. The rest of the 10 episodes will be released every week until the season ends on March 24.

Riley Keough plays Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin plays Billy Dunne, Camila Morrone plays Billy’s wife Camila Dunne, Will Harrison plays guitarist Graham Dunne, Suki Waterhouse plays keyboardist Karen Sirko, Josh Whitehouse plays guitarist Eddie Roundtree, Sebastian Chacon plays drummer Warren Rhodes, Timothy Olyphant plays band manager Rod Reyes, and so on.

The show is based on Taylor Jenkins Ried’s best-selling book of the same name. Ried and actress Reese Witherspoon both worked on the project through her production company, Hello Sunshine. If this star is in charge of the show behind the scenes, we know it will be great.

The drama will show the rise and fall of a made-up rock band with the same name as the show. You’re right. They don’t really play together as a group. According to the synopsis, the story takes place in the late 1970s, when Daisy Jones (Keough) and Billy Dunne (Claflin) are leading their band to success. But after reaching that level of success and selling out shows, the band breaks up. Their fans will find out why that happened many years from now.

Even though the story isn’t based on real events, the author of the book did say that the rocky relationship between singer Stevie Nicks and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham partly inspired the relationship between the two main characters.
