YouTube has also announced that they will be delivering “Coachella Curated” for Weekend 2 (April 22-24), an immersive Livestream that will try to bring “deep dives into the tales of some of today’s most intriguing musicians.” We’ll have an all-access pass to the happenings in the Coachella desert thanks to the Livestream, which will be presented once again by Joe Kay and Veronica De La Cruz and will feature “encore performances artist comments, mini-docs, and more.”
The live podcasts will be able to view on a variety of devices, including desktop, mobile, television, and the YouTube Music app, and fans will be able to set reminders for their favorite channels. On the first night of the tour, Harry Styles walked to the stage in a sequin-covered costume, brought out surprise guest Shania Twain, and even performed two songs from his new album, Harry Styles.
There was also a reunion of K-Pop trio 2NE1 on stage for the first time since 2016, while Megan Thee Stallion performed an unreleased song that sampled Freek’n You by Jodeci, Raekwon, and Ghostface Killah, among other artists.
In addition, there were some wonderful surprise guests. A special appearance by Snoop Dogg was made by Anitta, Justin Bieber appeared with Daniel Ceasar, and Billie Eilish performed alongside Damon Albarn of Gorillaz and her brother Finneas, among others.
