New Songs And Special Guest

In addition to being nothing short of magnificent, Harry’s Coachella 2022 set also had a few intriguing surprises. A sequined jumpsuit covered in sequins was the attire of choice for the 28-year-old as he performed not one but two songs from his new album.

First, he sang a brand new song called Boyfriends, which received a rousing response from the audience, before performing another song called Late Night Talking.

The former One Direction member then sang What Makes You Beautiful, one of the band’s most popular songs, before introducing Shania Twain to the stage for a special performance.

Man, I Feel Like A Woman and Still The One were two of Harry’s tunes that he performed with the Canadian country legend. He went on to say that it was listening to the Queen of Country Pop’s CDs as a youngster that first taught him how to sing in the first place.

Harry Styles Premieres Two New Songs, Joins Shania Twain on stage, and Dances the Night Away at Coachella’s Headlining Set

“We have a full moon, you have a ticket, and I have the flavor,” Harry Styles addressed Coachella’s large crowd on Friday night (April 15) during his first-ever headlining performance at the festival.

You’d never believe Styles, 28, was singing at Coachella for the first time, given his “flavorful” combination of onstage charm, amazing vocal control, uplifting moments of thankfulness, and, of course, his sense of style… pun intended.

To begin the hour-and-a-half show, natural visuals of yellow wildflowers, bunnies, and deer flashed over the screen as the music for Styles’ Harry’s House lead song, “As It Was,” played over the speaker, heralding the start of the British star’s new, enlightened era.

Styles then arrived in a huge black faux fur coat to sing the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper for the first time, shedding the coat after the second verse to loud squeals, revealing a sequined, rainbow-colored jumpsuit below. He then proceeded to sing an impressive 18 songs (full setlist below), spanning from the Fine Line’s “Adore You,” “Watermelon Sugar,” “Cherry,” and “Golden” to the songs from his first album “Woman” and “Kiwi.” He even sang “What Makes You Beautiful” for OG One Direction fans.

If you know the lyrics to this – Lord knows I do – please join in with me, he joked to the audience before launching into a lower octave, the more mature version of the 2011 blockbuster song that launched the adolescent boy band into superstardom.

Following “What Makes You Beautiful,” the stage went dark as Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” began to play. Styles glanced about amusingly, as if perplexed, until Twain herself walked onstage, saying, “Let’s go, gals!” The couple exuded chemistry as they flirtatiously played Twain’s romantic 1997 single, “You’re Still the One,” which Styles previously recorded with Kacey Musgraves.
