Peacemaker and the 11th St. Kids successfully stop the butterfly invasion, but not without sustaining some serious injuries. The team detonates some sonic booms from one of the protagonist’s helmets, destabilizing the barn and caverns. But in the skirmish, both Harcourt and Vigilante are shot and left for dead.

While, the peacemaker makes his way underground and Leota, acting as backup, successfully fights her way through a group of butterflies and, armed with the hero’s human rocket helmet, descends into the cavern.

Not really. In chapter 7 of the series, we saw how Peacemaker put a bullet in her father’s head. That happened and since White Dragon is just a bad guy in a super suit, it’s highly unlikely he’ll survive. Also, we know from the beginning of the season finale that the protagonist is being haunted by visions of his abusive father; he finds him again in the woods while searching for his sonic blast helmet. It seems likely that all of this is a metaphor for the persistence of a being’s true nature and the persistence of trauma.
