How Did Tess Die In The Last of US Game? A fan favorite has already died in The Last of Us, which has led to questions about how their death in the game is different from how it will be shown on TV.

Episode 2 (which aired on January 22) really shocked people. For people who haven’t played Naughty Dog’s survival game, the early death of a main character showed that no one is safe in this America after the end of the world. If you thought Joel, Ellie, and Tess could get across the country without getting hurt, you were wrong.

How Did Tess Die In The Last of US Game?

If you’ve watched the first episode of The Last of Us, you’ll remember how sad it was when Sarah, Joel’s daughter, died (Nico Parker).

Twenty years after the outbreak, the second episode follows Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Tess (Anna Torv) as they begin their long journey to get Ellie (Bella Ramsey) out of the Boston QZ and to the Fireflies.

When the three of them got to the museum where they were supposed to meet, they were attacked by Clickers and Stalkers. As Tess tried to fight off the zombies infected with Cordyceps, she was bitten. When Tess gets bit, she shows Joel that Ellie is the real deal by how she reacts to the infection. Tess decides to hand herself over to the zombies so that Ellie and Joel have more time to escape.

In a strange turn of events, Tess gets infected again when another zombie kisses her.

If you haven’t played The Last of Us, you might not know that the people in charge of the TV show changed how Tess died. Even though she still died, the reason was different.

As seen on the show, Tess got bit when she fought with the Clickers, but the zombies didn’t kill her. Instead, FEDRA agents did.

FEDRA agents show up at the place where Firefly members meet. As in episode 2, Tess tells Ellie and Joel to run away, so they have more time. But the agents quickly shoot Tess as they rush into the meeting place.
