Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3: Release Date UK: Guardians of the Galaxy is coming to an end this year with the release of the third and last film.

Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Dominic Cooper), and the rest of our favourite group of outcasts will be back in Marvel’s Phase 5 to probably save the world again and cause a little chaos along the way.

This time, though, things are a little different. The story will end with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, so the stakes have never been higher. In fact, things don’t look good for one member of the gang in particular.

Our favourite group of misfits is getting used to life on Knowhere, but it won’t be long before Rocket’s troubled past comes back to haunt them.

Peter Quill is still sad about losing Gamora, so he has to rally his team around him to go on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life. If they fail, it could be the end of the Guardians as we know them.

What will happen to our furry friend is something that only time will tell. But it doesn’t sound like things are going well for him, especially since director James Gunn had everyone convinced he was going to die before.

On the other hand, Nebula (Karen Gillan) seems to have gotten a big promotion.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3: Release Date UK

The movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released on theatres on May 5, 2023.

Director James Gunn tweeted a Polaroid photo of his cast back together after a long time to say that filming for the second movie would start on Monday, November 8, 2021.

The filming was done in May 2022, so the long post-production process could start.

By the time Guardians Vol. 3 comes out, it will have been six years since the team of misfit superheroes went on a solo mission, but the long time between stories doesn’t seem to have been planned.

The film was supposed to start filming in 2020, according to The Hollywood Reporter. However, Gunn’s temporary firing (more on that below), his later commitment to The Suicide Squad, and the coronavirus pandemic all caused delays.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Plot

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a continuation of the story of the “A-Holes” from other planets who saved the galaxy from Ronan the Accuser and Ego in the first two movies.

Most likely, the movie will be about what happened after Avengers: Endgame. In particular, it will show what happened to Gamora, who left the team after the big crossover to do some serious soul-searching.

We also know that the story will involve the popular comic book character Adam Warlock, who is a very powerful cosmic being made by the character with gold skin played by Elizabeth Debicki, Ayesha. This was hinted at in the last movie.

In The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, it was shown that Mantis is Star-Lord/Peter Quill’s half-sister because they both have the same father, Ego. This will be picked up in the movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 Cast

Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Vin Diesel as Groot, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin Obfonteri will all be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for the last time.

The group will also see Zoe Saldana’s version of Gamora again for the first time since Avengers: Infinity War, when the original Gamora died.

Gunn tweeted during filming, “This is the last Guardians movie for most of us,” so fans should definitely enjoy seeing all their favourite characters back together.

That seems to be the case since Gunn is now a top executive at the rival DC Studios and Bautista has been saying for years that he wants to leave the MCU.
