The episode “Come Fly With Me” is the first penned by Kingsley Ume, a production staff member since 2019.

The Reason for the Break

The hiatus is due to the 2023 NFL Draft, which will be featured on both ABC and ESPN, starting on Thursday, April 27, at 8 p.m. To avoid conflict, Grey’s Anatomy and its spinoff show Station 19 have decided to take a one-week break before returning for the end of their respective seasons on May 4.

Episode 17 will also address Amelia’s behavior and its impact on others, such as Yasuda. After Amelia’s outburst, Teddy is expected to call an emergency meeting for the interns, which may include the return of Nick, who has been absent in recent episodes.
