Glass Onion Cast Andi: In Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, one of the biggest revelations involves Janelle Monáe’s character, Andi Brand. Glass Onion picks off where the first film left off in many ways, with Daniel Craig returning as Benoit Blanc and joining an even more offbeat cast of individuals amid another murder case.

The twists and turns in Glass Onion, like those in the original Knives Out mystery, keep viewers guessing until the end, when a vital disclosure alters the entire film’s perspective.

The twist that Andi is her twin sister Helen and that Andi was found dead days earlier occurs precisely halfway through Glass Onion. With this new information, the film’s first half takes on an entirely new meaning, and it will likely take more than one viewing to realise that the character initially supposed to be Andi was Helen.

The twist was implemented so viewers wouldn’t know what to expect from the show’s central characters or the storyline. At first glance, Benoit Blanc’s mission in the sequel seems to be to identify Duke Cody’s killer. But the great twist in the movie is that Andi died after all and that Blanc brings in Helen to help him uncover Andi’s killer.

The true significance of Glass Onion’s title is hinted at throughout the first half of the film, which contains the movie’s most considerable twist. The first one lays the groundwork for how badly Andi and Miles have gotten along since their fight.

Andi’s appearance at the getaway is further evidence that it is indeed Helen since she would not have gone if she were still alive. Benoit Blanc advises Helen, disguised as Andi, to avoid discussion during the boat voyage to Miles’ island.

Besides her explosive outbursts toward the other characters, “Andi” doesn’t say much in the first half of Glass Onion. The fact that Helen was unknowingly inebriated at the time is revealed later in the film; thus, this is another indication.

Before the disclosure, we see “Andi” making her way back to her room, stumbling and tripping because of her intoxication. Aside from that, she and Blanc have a silent talk in the scene just before the vast Glass Onion twist is revealed. This is also a clue, as this exchange is explained in the film’s nonlinear narrative.
