इस दिन हमलोग गणेश जी मूर्ति लाके घर मैं पूजा करते है। गणेश जी जो इस दिन मोदक भोग लगते है, जो की गणेश जी के मनपसंद व्यंजन मैं से है।

On this day, we worship Lord Ganesha. Ganesh Ji who like modak, we offer him a bhog of Modak on this day, which is the favorite dish of Ganesh Ji.

गणेश चतुर्थी सबसे ज्यादा धूम धाम से मुंबई मैं मनाया जाता है। उस समय पुरे मुंबई मैं एक ही नारा लगता है “गणपती बाप्पा मोरिया मंगल मूर्ति मोरिया”, यह फेस्टिवल १० दिनों तक चलता चलता है और १०वे दिन गणेश जी का मूर्ति का विसर्जन करते है। विसर्जन करने से पहले आरती होती है प्रसाद बाटे जाते है मंत्रो का जाप किआ जाता है, फिर विधि बिधान के साथ गणेश जी को विसर्जन के लिए सामने कोई भी तालाब, नदी यह समुद्र मैं विसर्जित किआ जाता है।

अकेले मुंबई मैं ही सिर्फ १,५०,००० से ज्यादा मूर्ति का विसर्जन किआ जाता है।

Ganesh Chaturthi festival is most celebrated in Mumbai. At that time, the same slogan is used throughout Mumbai, “Ganapathi Bappa Moriya Mangal Murti Moriya”, this festival lasts for 10 days and immerse the idol of Ganesh Ji on the 10th day. With music and group chanting, then immersed in a nearby body of water such as a river or sea.

In Mumbai alone, more than 1,50,000 idols are immersed.
