Fire Country Season 1 Episode 10: On Friday, January 6, the midseason premiere of Fire Country came back, and it was intense the whole time. “No Good Deed” started right after the car Bode was stuck in fell off the side of the bridge.
Gabriela didn’t wait long before she jumped after him, leaving Manny, Vince, and Sharon to try to calm down as they worried about their kids and looked for them. The episode went back and forth between the rescue mission and the investigation that started a week later to find out what happened on the bridge.
Two things were clear by the end. Vince almost lost his son, which made him risk everything, including his job, to make sure he wouldn’t have to go back to prison. Even though they still have a lot of work to do to get along, Vince respects Bode’s work as a firefighter and thinks of him as a valuable asset to Cal Fire.
Second, Gabriela’s feelings for Bode are much stronger than she has let on. Yes, as an Olympic diver, she was the only one on that bridge with the skills to jump off and look for Bode in the water. But her decision was not based on logic but on how she felt. She took a desperate leap of faith that paid off, but it almost cost her her life.
Jake is right, they do need to talk about Bode. It’s not clear if that means the end of their relationship or that they need to set some boundaries, but Rebecca was right to see a link between Bode and Gabriela.

“Get Your Hopes Up” will allow us to spend time with Bode’s ex-girlfriend Cara, which should tell us a lot about his past. There must have been a time when he lived a very different life before all the twists and turns we’ve seen.
When a box truck crashes into the station, the power goes out, and a dangerous fire starts. Meanwhile, Sharon and Bode’s ex-girlfriend Cara (Sabina Gadecki) face multiple medical emergencies.
