In the gripping police drama Chicago P.D., members of the department’s elite Intelligence Unit fight against the city’s most heinous crimes, like drug and gang trafficking.
It has a long-running history as a police drama and plays a pivotal role in the One Chicago franchise.
Season 10 will be affected by the team’s dissolution after the horrific events of season 9. The prior season, Anna was killed when an intelligence operative was ordered to shoot her.
Season 10 will deal with the ramifications of Voight’s tight relationship with Anna. The show’s longevity is impressive, considering it’s almost ready for its tenth season.

Wednesday, October 12, 2022, is the premiere date for the fourth episode of Season 10 of Chicago P.D. Next week’s episode of Chicago P.D. season 10 airs on NBC at 10:00 p.m.
Chicago PD Season 10 Episode 04 Preview
For Jesse Lee Soffer’s Jay Halstead, at least in a recurring capacity, the series finale occurred in episode 3.
The future is uncertain, but we know that he is no longer with us. It was his decision to enlist again in the Army so that he could accomplish good from a distance. He longs for his old self to return.
Is there still any sort of ambiguity about his ultimate fate among us? Certainly, but at least we know his assignment is scheduled to last no longer than eight months.
He might even appear in the season 10 finale if he returns sooner. However, it is yet unclear whether or not he will return to Intelligence permanently.
The show must go on, though it will be different without him. To begin, it’s understandable that Hailey would be shocked by this.
She may agree with Jay that this is his most excellent choice, but that doesn’t make it any less difficult.
Though she must keep working, she may feel hatred toward Voight or anybody who may have influenced him. We still don’t know the answer to that.
The fact that NBC focused almost exclusively on Torres in their advertisement is the one thing we think the network got wrong.
That’s not a knock on the character, who we find attractive; we just feel like the promo could have benefited from focusing more on how she’s coping with Jay’s death.
Getting to know the new recruit won’t be a time constraint for the show.
