Based on the series of books homonyms Ann M. Martin, The Baby-Sitters Club ( Club babysitters ) is a series that tells the story of Netflix’s five close friends to open up a babysitting service. The group of friends and babysitters have to deal with various problems, from the divorce of the parents to the confrontations of siblings.
In addition, they must also deal with jealousy, inclusion, or family problems, among others. All these problems lead the friends on different adventures with a fun twist.
The Babysitter Club will appear on Netflix on October 11, 2021.
On October 28, 2020, the Netflix Australia and New Zealand Twitter account confirmed that BSC will be returning for Season 2. In the video announcement, the series’ original stars – Malia Baker (Mary Anne), Momona Tamada (Claudia), Xochitl Gomez (Dawn), Jessi (Anais Lee), Vivian Watson (Mallory), Shay Rudolph (Stacey), and Sophie Grace (Kristy ) – seen lip-syncing the theme song of the original HBO series that aired in 1990.

he Clueless – What Else! became a teen idol and would probably have been perfect for one of the young leading roles around 25-30 years ago, Kristy’s mother Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer will play. Mark Feuerstein ( “Royal Pains” ) takes on the role of her husband and Kristy’s stepfather Watson Brewer.
Alicia Silverstone played her first series lead role in “American Woman” just last year as an unconventional single mother in her seventies. However, the comedy series was discontinued after only one season. I wish her more success with “The Baby-Sitters Club“.
Rachel Shukert, a writer, and co-producer of Netflix’s “GLOW,” is the showrunner for the series. This is described as a family-friendly, contemporary adaptation of the books, which in its half-hour episodes will deal with topics such as divorce, racism, and other challenges relevant to today’s teenagers.
