The first episode of the winter season, called “Nothing Sacred,” was directed by Bridget Moynahan, who is also a star of the show. There is a lot of tension in the Reagan family as Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and his grandson Joe Reagan (Will Hochman) deal with an insult to Joe’s father’s memory. This is likely to be one of the most exciting episodes of Blue Bloods so far. Joe Hill never knew his father, and Frank has never gotten over the death of his son. Both men are working to keep Joe Reagan’s memory alive, so it will be hard for them to visit his grave.
It’s likely that Joe Hill, who works undercover, or Jamie, who investigates police officers who might be corrupt, will find out something bad about Joe Reagan. Frank and Joe Hill might get closer as grandfather and grandson as they try to fix the bad reputations of their dead relatives. Frank’s grandson or granddaughter will want to hear about his adventures. Two people think that Joe Reagan was insulted, but what if he wasn’t as good as they think? That could make Frank and Joe feel confused and sad, which could lead to a lot of trouble. Erin and Henry will also work together, which should be a lot of fun.
Henry is at his best when he is doing the little bit of police work he can still do, and he is in a good place to catch the criminals this time. Erin needs his help to stop a scam ring that takes advantage of old people. She’ll probably want Henry to act like he’s an old man who isn’t as smart as he is so that they can catch the possible con artists in the act. Even though it doesn’t seem too dangerous, Henry’s family might not like it. Henry is often watched over by Jamie, and sometimes Frank goes out of his way to keep his father safe.
