In tonight’s season finale of Blue Bloods, the Reagans will face professional hurdles.

Fans of Dylan Walsh will be pleased to hear that he will be reprising his role as Mayor Chase tonight, but Frank is not likely to be delighted by this development. This time, the officer’s off-duty remarks about politics will cause tension between the two.

When investigating a gang attack this week, Danny will see a familiar figure, an absolute blast from the past. Who is this unknown criminal that Danny will likely run into again? When Danny and Baez last season looked into a case of a store owner being attacked for refusing to pay protection money to local gangs, it was Sonny Le they encountered.

Blue Bloods Season 13 Episode 8 Preview

While investigating a shockingly motived gang attack, Danny runs upon a former suspect named Sonny Le (Alex Duong). Friday, December 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, BLUE BLOODS features a heated exchange between Frank and Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) over an off-duty cop who goes too far with a political statement; Anthony worries that Erin’s DA campaign could be threatened by her ex-husband Jack’s unsavoury business connections; and Jamie investigates a potentially dirty officer whose identity may be close to home.

In case you missed it, this is the very last episode of the year. It’s imperative that it leaves a lasting impression on your viewers. There’s nothing to indicate a festive setting, but we’ll keep an eye out in case there’s some additional holiday spirit tossed in.
