Lisa Ambjörn, Lars Beckung, and Camilla Holter from Sweden came up with the idea for Young Royals, a Netflix original series.
The story follows Prince Wilhelm as he settles into life at the elite Hillerska School. In the safe environment of the boarding school, Prince Wilhelm is free to discover who he is and what he wants out of life.
Drama, however, arises when Prince Wilhelm begins a romantic relationship with another student, Simon Eriksson.
Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, Malte Grdinger, Frida Argento, Nikita Uggla, Inti Zamora Sobrado, Beri Gerwise, Pernilla August, var Forsling, and a slew of others are among the outstanding cast.
We were left hanging at the end of the first season, so we can’t wait to find out what happens next.
After watching the teaser for season 2 of Young Royals, I have no doubt that Prince Wilhelm and Simon Eriksson’s relationship will get more tense and dramatic. Anything can happen now that a new school year has begun at Hillerska.
Young Royals Season 2 Episode 1 Release Date
Young Royals, a hit Swedish adolescent drama, will premiere its second season on Netflix on November 1, 2022, at 12 am PT.
The release will occur on November 1 at 2:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) if you live in the Central time zone. The number of episodes in the second season is the same as in the first. The season is short enough that it may be watched in one sitting once it becomes available. If you’re lucky, you can watch two episodes before you have to turn them in for the night.
The show’s plot centers on a young prince who, adjusting to life at an elite boarding school, must also deal with romantic complications.

Young Royals has a boarding school and more teen drama than anyone can handle, like any decent coming-of-age drama.
The series follows Prince Wilhelm as he adjusts to life at the elite boarding school Hillerska, and it is full of the unexpected turns that youthful love can take. The prince’s life takes a dramatic turn for the better when he meets Simon.
Wilhelm becomes embroiled in a massive sex-tape controversy, which serves as a more than startling conclusion to the first season.
The prince, desperate to save his royal name, denies having anything to do with the tape. Because of this, he and his partner Simon have a massive fight, and their relationship’s future is uncertain.
After last season’s nail-biting conclusion, it’s only reasonable to assume that season 2 will bring even more tension to the table. Young loves Prince Wilhelm and Simon Eriksson will be back together for another semester, and fans can expect much more tension between them.
Viewers will be riveted by what happens to the couple in the upcoming school year, as teased in the season 2 trailer.
