Who Is Dale In Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers?
Andy Samberg is the voice of Dale in Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers. On the other hand, young Dale is played by Juliet Donenfeld.
Focusing on Andy, the 43-year-old American actor Jake Peralta from the popular sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the role he is best known for. He was also on Saturday Night Live if you haven’t seen it.
On the other hand, he played the lead role in the movies Palm Springs, Hot Rod, and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, which led nicely into his music career.
He is part of the comedy group The Lonely Island, and he stars in Popstar with the other two members. Like a Boss, I’m on a Boat, Jack Sparrow, and more of their songs were big hits.
CHIP, DALE, AND… ALVINO?
Andy Samberg was recently on Kid Gloves, an interview show on Yahoo Entertainment that is run by kid reporters.
The kids were laughing so hard that they asked him who would win in a fight. Alvin and the Chipmunks or Chip and Dale. Big question.
He said that Chip and Dale would win and made a joke that they would beat Alvin and his group “by exploding my mind.”
The First Person Who Made Chip And Dale Think Of Themselves As Brothers
“A lot of people, including the guy who drew them, think of them as brothers,” the Reddit user said. “But it seems like only Walt [Disney] knew if they were brothers or not, so it’s kind of strange.”
But The New Movie Shows Them As Friends From When They Were Kids
In Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, which was written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand of “How I Met Your Mother” & directed by Akiva Schaffer of “The Lonely Island,” the two chipmunks are shown as friends from elementary school, as The A.V. Club points out in its review.
The movie then jumps ahead to when Chip (voiced by John Mulaney) and Dale (voiced by Andy Samberg) are adults “living among cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles,” as Disney says in a synopsis.
Are Both Chips And Dale Guys?
For a long time, there was nothing about the two chipmunks in the old cartoons that made it clear which one was which.
So, if the official word is that they are “brothers,” they must both be men by definition.
Dave Smith says in his book Disney Trivia from the Vault that Bill Justice, the animator who first drew the mischievous chipmunks Chip and Dale, wrote in his autobiography 50 years after the characters were made that he thought of them as “simply little brothers,” even though the Walt Disney Company has never said if they were brothers or just good friends.
