Who Dies In House of the Dragon Episode 10? House of the Dragon’s season finale has arrived. Fans of the series will witness how the conflict referred to as the Dance of the Dragons, finally gets underway after building suspense for the past nine episodes.
There is no doubt that the war has come to the House of the Dragon. The only question is how much of it will occur in the Season 1 finale, which will serve as the series introduction.

Who Dies In House of the Dragon Episode 10?
It was revealed in episode 10 of “House of the Dragon” that Rhaenyra had hoped her eldest son, Jacaerys, would visit The Eyrie, the headquarters of House Arryn, before traveling to Winterfell to speak with Cragan Stark.
She requested that Lucerys visit Borros Baratheon to bring up the oath again. She had wrongly assumed the Baratheons wouldn’t require much convincing before swearing loyalty.
She didn’t know that Otto Hightower had asked Aemond Targaryen to beg for the hand of one of Lord Borros Baratheon’s daughters in Storm’s End.
When Lucerys finally got to the very end of Storm, he had the distinct impression that a massive shadow was looming over him.
When he looked back, he saw Vhagar waiting there. The feeling sent shivers down his spine. When he realized how challenging the endeavor was, he made a decision.
When he got to the court, he noticed Aemond waiting for him. Rhaenyra had instructed her sons explicitly that they were not to attack any of the houses they visited but to act as messengers.
Although Lucerys would not have dared to start a battle with Aemond even if Aemond had said the opposite. The message’s tone was lost on Borros Baratheon.
While Aemond had proposed a marriage arrangement, he considered Rhaenyra’s actions a threat.
Aemond’s advantage came from the fact that he had reached the target earlier. Borros Baratheon refused to pledge loyalty to Rhaenyra and ordered Lucerys out of the kingdom.
Aemond couldn’t just let him go without threatening him, could he? For one of his eyes, he begged Lucerys.
They were about to fight it out until Borros Baratheon stepped in. A frightened Lucerys climbed onto his dragon to escape Storm’s End as soon as possible.
Still, Aemond had more in store. He went after Lucerys’s baby dragon. During the chase, it became clear that neither rider had complete command of his dragon.
Arrax spits fire at Vhagar of his own volition, which infuriates the savage animal. Even though Aemond did everything in his power to rein in Vhagar, it was already too late.
Just as the clouds began to break and Lucerys thought the danger had passed, Vhagar appeared and tore Lucerys and his dragon to pieces.
Aemond’s face after learning of Lucerys’ death says it all. He had unknowingly summoned his own destruction.
As expected, Lucerys’ death was reported in Dragonstone. What transpired, Daemon informed Rhaenyra. The very last connection in the realm has been severed.
The beginning of the Dance of the Dragon was marked by the death of Lucerys. Rhaenyra had done all she could to bring the realm together and preserve the kingdom from inevitable catastrophe, but now there was nothing left for her to do.
Her innocent son had been stolen from her, and she was going to make the Greens pay for it. Season 2 of “House of the Dragon” will likely show us her method of vengeance.
If the blacks successfully seized control of King’s Landing, the greens’ ability to keep and defend the city would be tested.
