Luckily, Netflix has its subscribers covered early this year by releasing what is sure to become a holiday classic.

American director Janeen Damian’s holiday-themed romantic comedy Falling For Christmas stars Lindsay Lohan as Sierra Belmont, an engaged heiress who loses her memory after an accident. She comes to as Christmas approaches, and the lodge owner and his daughter take care of her.

It’s sugary sweet, and the picturesque settings add to the film’s wooziness. Where exactly did they shoot Falling For Christmas?

Where Was Falling For Christmas Filmed?

When principal photography on Falling For Christmas began in November 2021, it was shot in two Utah cities: Salt Lake City and Park City.

Production continued for another month until December, with most of the action taking place in Salt Lake City. The city of Salt Lake, located in the northwestern part of the Salt Lake Valley, was ideal for filming both indoor and outdoor scenes.

Since the film features skiing, and the city is well-known for its skiing, it seems like a natural choice to film there. According to Visit Salt Lake, four of Utah’s ski resorts—Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, and Solitude—are among the world’s best.
