The two friends’ plans to arrest Lulu were reportedly taken a step further by police.

To complete the task of killing Lulu’s husband, Ramon Sosa, they sent an undercover agent to Lulu, pretending to be the hitman and accepting jewelry and money from her.

Also, according to reports, Ramon was put in a grave with a fake bullet wound on his head by the police.

To convince Lulu that her husband Ramon had died, they posed him in such a way that he appeared to be dead.

Lulu reportedly agreed to pay more money and other items to the undercover agent posing as the hitman after seeing the picture of Ramon’s corpse.

Lulu was arrested the following day and charged with solicitation of capital murder.

In October 2016, after serving fifteen months in prison, she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a lesser amount of time behind bars, saving herself from a life in prison.

According to the reports, she was sentenced to twenty years in prison for her crime.
