First Four Episodes Short Recap

The Circle Season Two now Netflix gave me the first four episodes for review so thank you so much to the team over at Netflix the way they’re releasing it is weekly so you get the first four episodes this week.

If you’re a fan of the circle season one like myself guys this is really not too different however there are some differences in whether they’re good or they’re bad.

I would say so good the season does take a couple of episodes to get going but by episode three I was locked in the overall cast of players in season one, I think initially was much stronger than in season two, but I love the wide array of personalities you have the more quiet Lee who’s 58 years old and he’s catfishing as river and then you have Chloe who comes in as herself, I believe she’s in her early 20s and she was on this other reality show too hot to handle and she has high energy, sometimes too high but boy is it fun just to see how they all interact with one another. And the best thing about this show is that they never really see each other face to face unless someone is blocked and they get the chance to go and choose who they like to visit it is just a joy.

And also I think the reason why this show works so well for me is the host Michelle Bouteau is so funny to me and she always has really quippy jokes and one-liners that just complements the show very well it helps break up some of the more monotonous boring moments of the season, and man is she just nailing it as host I wanted to host every reality show, to be honest with you, but going back to the season’s slow start I do think that episode 2 is clearly the weakest for me because it was full of so many uninteresting moments, and there wasn’t a game that worked.

And speaking of games in episode 3 they played truth or dare and I did love the truth moment but when someone selected there I believe it was Courtney he had to go put on a ton of clothes in 60 seconds and well none of the other players could actually see him do this, so the reactions weren’t genuine and it didn’t really flow for me, so I really hope the games get better.

But as for the conversations now that’s a whole other story I actually think that the drama through four episodes here is better than it was early on in season one of The Circle, and the major dramatic storyline between Terilisha and Savannah really is the best thing about the show so far I really enjoyed seeing them go back and forth building alliances trying to bridge trust with other players and then seeing the backstabbing moments during the influencer chats. It was so much fun and the tables turn towards the end and I don’t want to spoil too much. But man it was just dramatic there was a roller coaster ride of emotions and some of my guesses were right and some of them were totally wrong but honestly, there are two things, I’m not the biggest fan of through these first four episodes.
