Who Is Nelson Piquet?
Piquet, a three-time world champion, is one of Formula One’s most accomplished drivers.
It took him just two years after his first championship with Brabham to win another one with the same team.
Piquet subsequently spent two years with Williams, where he won his third championship in his second season.
Announcing his retirement from motorsport in 1992, the Brazilian has since made numerous attempts to compete in the Indy 500. He has yet to succeed.
He also worked with Nelson Piquet Jr., his son, when the latter was a Renault test driver in 2007.
It was in 2000 when Piquet launched his own racing team, Piquet Sports.
Verstappen is romantically linked to the 69-year-third-oldest old’s kid, Kelly.
What Did Nelson Piquet Say To Lewis Hamilton?
When asked about the 2021 British Grand Prix, the Brazilian used a nasty phrase in an interview in November of last year.
Even though Piquet’s daughter Kelly is engaged to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, he blasted Hamilton’s driving at Silverstone, where he collided with the Dutchman.
Hamilton went on to win his ninth straight home race after sending Verstappen careening into the barriers. Verstappen was transported to the hospital for examinations.
Piquet argues that Hamilton was to blame for using the inflammatory word, which was first overlooked by Brazilian media.
Discriminatory or racist language is unacceptable in any form and has no part in society.
