Tony Sirico Cause Of Death: This week has been sad for fans of mobster movies, because after the death of James Caan, who played Sonny Corleone in the film The Godfather, this Friday the death of Tony Sirico, an actor from The Sopranos and Goodfellas, at 79 years old .
This news was reported by actor Michael Imperioli, Sirico’s partner in the series created and produced by David Chase.
Variety corroborated the news with Sirico’s manager, Bob McGowan, who recalled him as “a very loyal and excellent customer” who “always helped people in need.”

Before winning over viewers as Paulie Gualtieri on The Sopranos, the Midwood, Brooklyn-born was part of the Mafia in the Colombo family. He had many legal problems during this stage and went to jail several times.
His first acting opportunity came in 1974 as an extra in Crazy Joe, a film based on the life of mobster Joe Gallo that starred Peter Boyle.
